There has never been a more challenging time for UK business, our economy is under so much pressure and everywhere you look businesses are trying to find new ways to survive.
But whilst you may be looking at changing your business model, making budget cuts and furloughing staff – its important you don’t forget that whilst this is time for cutting back – businesses will survive and they will be back and not only will you need to let your existing customers know you’re still operating, but all those new businesses that are looking to make changes need to know who you are and what you’re offering. The best way to do this is by continuing to speak to them – get your message across, let them know why they should be looking to you for the best deals and the best services.
It might be tempting to look to your marketing strategy as a temporary cut – however even the slightest break in your messaging is allowing your competitors a way in. Re-starting your marketing when this pandemic is all over might be too late to encourage your customers back if they have found an alternative they’re happy with.
